It was Pablo Picasso who said, "I do not seek; I find."

Teetering the line of arrogance, I like to think the artist was simply confident in his abilities to finish what he started. My personal belief is that all visual communicators must adopt this same boldness for great design to flourish.

My passions are divided between newspaper layout design, humanitarian publicity, and aesthetic data visualization. A journalist at heart, I pursue clarity, ingenuity and wit in design, eternally critiquing, "Is it clear? Is it new? Is it effective?"

Off duty, I appreciate well-placed punctuation, freshly brewed coffee and all things James Franco.
