I'm Summer Cook, a graduate student and accounting professional. After pursuing an undergraduate degree in History, I stumbled into the accounting field and accidentally found my passion.

Currently, I am pursuing a Masters of Accountancy with my sights set on achieving my CPA licensure.Upon graduation and passing the CPA exam (on my first try), I would like to work as an auditor at one of the Big Four accounting firms before transitioning into the private sector and ultimately rising to CFO or Vice President.

I am presently employed at a small engineering firm near Raleigh as Administrative Manager and Accounting Clerk. Additionally, I provide consulting for several small non-profit organizations on bookkeeping and other accounting issues.

When I'm not working or studying you can find me training for my first half marathon, reading a wide variety of books, or cheering on my favorite teams.
