Summit Byrne was diagnosed with a ASD/VSD congenital heart defect at birth and had successful surgery to correct it at 4 months. She is now a healthy, happy 16-year-old who enjoys skiing and coffee and wants to be a pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon. She wants to help parents of children with congenital heart defects by sharing her experiences.
