i was born in calcutta,india. the place was in the northern side of the city called shyambazar, north calcutta is the oldest part of the city where i have grown up. old houses, british /europian buildings, trum, and lot more things were my childhood plays. i went to the Park Institution school, and just beside our school there was a big park called Deshabandhu Park, i still remember i used to sit near the window always, so i can watch the activity in the park during boring classes, well classes were boring,but still about some teacher i still admire, one of them was Kishor Ghoshal, he was our geography teacher, he used to punish me as well as loved me a lot. i still wonder how he used to tell us stories about geography and lots more, there was another teacher called Amol Babu. he was our english teacher, a man with less words but full of confidence, another teacher i can remember Debasish babu, he joined our school when i was in 7th standard, He joined as Bengali teacher, he was the first guy who introduced me with poetry. and specially poems beside Rabindranath Tegore. shakti Chattopaddhay, and also Joy goshwami, one day he left the school, actually our school board forced him to left, school board realized that sir is not mentally fit, because everyday he used to bring food from home for birds. As because our school building was old there were lots of small birds in our school terrace. and while feeding them he used to sing Tegore songs loudly. someone spread the rumor, that after feeding the birds he catches them and eats them alive. school Board asked him to leave very fast, he was not popular among teachers as well. one day i had a dream that i am going sinking in some pond,and as because i do not know swimming i am going dead, i told my mom about this dream, she admitted me to a swimming club called Deshabandhu Swimming and athletic club, so everyday after school i used to go to swim there. slowly swimming became my main focus, and as a kid a started dreaming about becoming a swimmer in future. but the daily routine was not very smooth, i used to wake up around 8 and after quick breakfast my mom used to force me to sit with book, and i used to hide story books inside school books. after that at 10:30 school and after school swimming club, at around 7 pm i used to come back home from swimming club. and after that my teacher Akhil da used to come to teach me science and math. really i was super bad in maths. but life was fun in my little world
