I am an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and owner of It's More Than Milk Lactation Services. My own difficult breastfeeding journeys resulted in a passion for lactation advocacy and support. I work to help all families meet their lactation and infant feeding goals through individual consultations, and private and small group classes.
I have taken on additional trainings focusing on trauma-informed care, perinatal mood disorders, anti-racist practices, and gender-affirming care in the perinatal space. Because of my personal experiences and the population I serve, I am pursuing a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. Clients have described me as informative, empathetic, and supportive, and report that I make them feel very confident.
It’s More Than Milk focuses on providing holistic lactation care focused on informing, supporting, and empowering families. My team and I work to help all parents meet their lactation goals through one-on-one consultations, peer groups, and parent education. We want to empower all families encountering lactation struggles with evidence-based compassionate support. When not talking about lactation, I enjoy singing karaoke badly, swimming to stay cool, and eating my way through Austin, TX.
