Suneel Galgotia finished his education at Shri Ram College of Commerce. He began his career in 1980s with a publishing venture and after many successful enterprises he founded the Galgotias Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT). It was granted university status in 2011 by the Uttar Pradesh government was founded by Chairman Suneel Galgotia and CEO Dhruv Galgotia.
