As a Principal with Surprise Development Inc. in San Francisco, Suneet Singal applies close to a decade of financial expertise in negotiating real estate projects, organizing and implementing deal structures, and finding suitable financing sources. In this position, Suneet Singal spearheaded the acquisition of over a dozen commercial real estate projects throughout California in both 2008 and 2009. Currently, Suneet Singal is negotiating property acquisitions and joint ventures in undeveloped portions of Costa Rica.
Earning a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a concentration in Investments from California State University, Sacramento, Suneet Singal worked as a financier in the commercial real estate industry after graduating. Gaining experience in several capacities within the financial arena, Suneet Singal honed his aptitude for project acquisition, negotiating, and project management. Suneet Singal joined Surprise Development Inc. in November 2007.
Today, Suneet Singal is an adept real estate developer with thorough expertise in acquiring and improving multifamily, retail, mixed use, industrial, and mini-storage properties located in both urban and rural environments. Suneet Singal has experienced considerable success in using a variety of funding structures to finance building projects, including joint ventures, builder partnerships, private equity, mezzanine and subordinate financing, and institutional and private debt financing. In addition to his position with Surprise Development Inc., Suneet Singal operates as a Partner of Strategic Development Holding Company, a project management firm, and ABW Holding, a media and distribution company. Recently, one of the up-and-coming artists with ABW released a new album that has sold exceptionally well over the Internet distribution channels, especially considering it was an independently released album.
When not attending to his duties with Surprise Development Inc. and his other firms, Suneet Singal is involved in a variety of sports-oriented ventures. A student and aficionado of mixed martial arts (MMA), Suneet Singal co-owns an MMA apparel and product distributor. Suneet Singal also owns a mixed martial arts league and enjoys boxing and other sports.
