How I started this journey? Long story short, I was trying to find music sheet for a song that I wanted to play on piano, couldn’t find one, so I tried to play it by ear. Then I opened my eyes on the world of arranging music and fell in love with it. Just kidding I didn’t really fell in love at first haha.

So the long story. I was 8, and like every other Asian parents, they taught me piano, hated it to the point I cried, and mom didn’t force me to continue. I still played piano from time to time but not those boring Czerny stuff. I searched online for music sheets of anime songs and played them. I remember when I was in 5th grade, I visited my friend’s house, and he had real piano. I didn’t have, I only had keyboard. And he had this music sheet of a song titled ‘My Way’, I played it and his mom was like “he took like a year to learn that and you’re just playing it in like, what, an hour?”. And I also had a neighbor who played guitar, so I also learned guitar and brought it to school trying to impress girls by playing songs they would want to singalong. At high school, I watched lots of animes and one time there was this anime song that I really wanted to play but I couldn’t find any music sheet so I tried to play it by ear. I was so slow at first, unlike now I can play any song quite fast but arranging is another story of course. But that’s how I started my journey on music. I started to enjoy the process, started making my own arrangements, uploaded them on YouTube and after few years I came into this world of utaite community. I learned about making intrumentals, mixing and mastering and stuff. I was so hooked up into it. I started doing collabs with people, network with people, met my girlfriend, I started writing original songs for my girlfriend as well.

I still have a lot of stories but this site only allows like 2500 characters. Maybe I’ll write a book about me someday in the future if you guys are interested haha. Thank you for reading this much!
