I'm an undergrad at Washington University in St. Louis, majoring in Biochemistry and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and also am an aspiring pre-med (similar to the other half of the students that go to school here). Originally from Houston, but it's been really easy to call St. Louis my second home.

Special interests include education, equity, and access, especially in relation to health. I've learned that there are so many people here that are passionate about what they do or have done, the initiatives that they've started, and the articles they've published - they've all got something to say and something to teach, and all you really have to do is step outside, get your head out of your textbook and go talk to them, but hey, I'm still working on it.
