A doctor of medicine, a self-made millionaire, and an IFBB Wellness Pro are just some of Sunny Andrews' achievements. There are no shortcuts in her career as a doctor and an Olympic bodybuilder. At the Arnold Classic in Columbus, she was one of only 10 Pro Wellness athletes invited to compete.
Background and Education
Despite her true name being Sonia Andreou, she goes by the moniker Sunny Andrews and has an Instagram account called @drsunnnyandrews. She was born in Ontario, Canada, but relocated to Michigan at the age of 15 to pursue a career in the medical field. As a kid, she excelled in sports such as soccer and track. When she was a teenager, she was selected for the US Olympic Development Soccer Team and continued to play sports throughout her time in college.

She had originally envisioned a career in fashion design. She studied anthropology and fashion design at Michigan State University, where she graduated with a degree in bioethics. Her interest in health, wellbeing, and helping others was sparked during a short internship at an orthopedic office. To get her foot in the door of the medical profession, she went on to get a master's degree in Biomedical Science from Oakland University.
