Drawing on 20 years of legal experience, Saura “Sunny” Sahu is the principal of Clancy Advisors, a Michigan-based law firm he established in 2017. With the firm, Sunny Sahu handles corporate matters spanning numerous areas, including investment rounds, company formation, and internal corporate policy.
In addition, Saura Sahu oversees the marketing of the firm. Over the past several years he has also been involved in mergers and acquisitions, such as a golf-focused technology firm that was merged into an industry leader. He also has experience in the courtroom defending numerous clients, running the gamut from having unfounded felony charges dismissed to litigating complex civil fraud and commercial claims.
Sunny Sahu is a University of Michigan alumnus, having graduated in 1996 with a bachelor of arts in political philosophy. During this time, he was named a National Merit Scholar and James Angell Scholar. He subsequently attended the University of Michigan Law School and graduated with a juris doctor in 1999.
While pursuing his law degree, he was a member of the Wolverine Bar Association and was named a Damon J. Keith Scholar.
