I am a mid-western girl from Northern Minnesota with traditional values. My best qualities in and out of the kitchen I would say is my persistence, postitive attitude, and my sense of humor. I am also a very hard worker. My career goal is to expand the natural, organic, and local food market in some shape or form. I believe that in the busy daily life of the working individual, convenience of time over-rides a needed nutritional balance. I would like to change that! I have 11 years of experience in this industry with a range of knowledge. Experience ranges in greek, italian, corporate restaurant, bistro, organic catering, wedding/banquets/ corporate funtions, management, training, hostessing, marketing & sales management, promotional, bartending, organic farming, and various positions within the kitchen. I am a graduate of the Auguste Escoffier Culinary School of the Arts, which is based out of Boulder, CO. This school has a farm-to-table concept using only local and organic ingredients with traditional french culinary training.
