I love the freedom and peace of being outdoors, especially on the beach. The crashing waves, the smell of salt water, the wide open space and the sea breeze which never fail to blow away the cobwebs. Being close to nature gives me a very special feeling and my metal detecting interests and the stuff I find, enable me to reach out and touch the past, a remarkable connection which enriches my life so much.
