Suresh Doki
Enterprising entrepreneur and computer technology specialist Suresh Doki has founded and operated multiple businesses over the last 15 years. Obtaining his undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Visakhapatnam, India, from Andhra University, Suresh Doki relocated to America to pursue a graduate degree. He earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester, Massachusetts. With extensive knowledge of numerous computer languages and operating systems, as well as keen expertise in hardware and software protocols, he began his career in America working as Systems Administrator for WPI in 1991. In this role, his responsibilities included administration and management of systems, network, and software at WPI.
Leaving WPI in 1993, Suresh Doki spent the next year with AT&T Bell Laboratories in Holmdel, New Jersey. As a contracted systems programmer, Suresh Doki developed systems and database software using Oracle, C, and Sybase. He designed a database for a medical thesaurus and redesigned a database system to track telephones, network connections, and other communication information. He then contracted as a Software Developer with Bellcore in Piscataway, New Jersey, where he designed code for the Integrated Service Control Point (ISCP) Telecom Software. In addition, he contracted as a Programmer Analyst for MCI Metro in Vienna, Virginia, where he wrote an installation package for installing a bank server in the United Kingdom.
Simultaneously, Suresh Doki founded Cambridge Technologies, Inc., with two classmates, offering the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area professional information technology (IT) services. He then formed his own company, Cambridge Software Systems, Inc., a company that grew quickly to employ more than 250 IT professionals. He has launched, acquired, and managed numerous other companies since 2000 and eventually turned his focus to providing health care, life sciences, and IT services for companies in the U.S.
