digital marketer and Moto-Journalist in Oakland, California
I'm a seasoned (although the youngsters just say "old") digital marketing jack of all trades. I've been doing ecommerce and multi-channel customer acquisition / engagement / retention for 18+ years. I'm a true believer in the power of the web as communication medium, marketplace and brave, continually-new-every-day world. I also absolutely love motorbikes (riding and wrenching) and loud guitars.
I helped grow the wonderful digital agency, ROI DNA, in San Francisco, CA, and in late 2017 left my role as VP, Digital Marketing Programs to do consulting work on my own under the sorta-tongue-in-cheek moniker Marketing Astronaut. I've since worked with a nice mix of interesting and cool companies like Figma, Sourceclear, Stylebee, Awake Security, Grand Rounds and Hipcamp. I'm also Editor In Chief of CityBike Magazine, and I run LaneSplittingIsLegal.com.
