Mrinalini Erkenswick Watsa

Saint Louis, Missouri

Mini is a scientist and writer who loves, more than anything else, to be out in the field working with animals. She runs Field Projects International/PrimatesPeru, an NPO with humble beginnings and a bright future, to share her love of the tropical rainforests with others. She finds writing about herself in the third person awkward in the extreme.

SurroundScience is an attempt to feature science that does not always make the headlines, with a particular emphasis on the complicated and amazing people that do such science.

She also is a member of Mongabay.com's reporting network and you can explore her writing here.
