as abrasive blast cleaning, pellet gun manufacturing, and shot peening. Steel shot is classified
according to its overall quality, softness, and shape consistency. It is often referred to as steel
grit. It is manufactured through a process called cold heading, which results in a ring of metal
surrounding the shot.
