Experienced government executive, having served as Deputy Under Secretary of the Employment Standards Administration of the U.S. Department of Labor, then the largest agency in the Department, with responsibility for enforcing 90+ labor laws, such as the minimum wage laws and affirmative action and non-discrimination obligations of federal contractors.
Inducted as a fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources in 2003; became a fellow of Human Resource Policy Institute of Boston University in 2010.
