Susan Smith

Academic and poet. Living in East London, South Africa. I am an Associate Professor at the University of Fort Hare and Head of the Department of Afrikaans. My research interests include Afrikaans literature, Ecopoetics and Ecocriticism. My poetry has been published in several anthologies and a solo volume of poetry, in die afwesigheid van sin, has recently been released.
