Beside caring for Dogs at Four Leggers which is my Doggie Day Care business, I am a country girl who raises two children, maintains a small Alpaca Farm and I feed forty three mouths twice a day.

It generally begins by 6:30 a.m. when my two children rise and shine with tummies grumbling in need of nourishment before they're out the door and off to school. Afterward, I'm off to the barn where the other 40 mouths are waiting. First to feed is the three giant flemish ravenous rabbits who quietly await their pellets and greens and their crock to be filled with fresh water. Meanwhile, eighteen noisy hens and two panicky pekin ducks are loudly squawking .. along with our fresh water and layer feed do not forget the kitchen scraps! Around this farm nothing is wasted. Moving on I can hear the two laid back llamas, and the ten alpacas humming oh so softly however loud enough for me to hear of their long overdue wait. How dare I take so long filling their empty kiddie pools with fresh green fluffy? Once back in the house, my two dogs stare me down as they impatiently wait for me to prepare their meals which are served from a heated cast skillet. Yes, they're kind of spoiled that way. And, here comes the famished feline dropping in to rattle the kitchen reminding me, he too has an appetite for a warm meal. And, just when I think I've fed them all, there they are, the two fair fish swimming back and forth mouths gaping and waiting for their flakes of gold.

The days fly by and before I know it the clock strikes 3:00. The children will be home, they will be starving, and yes, it will be time to feed them, all of them "again".
