Susana Mayrides

Hey there, I’m Susana. I’m a teacher working in Richland, SC. I am a fan of music, dance, and reading. I’m also interested in travel and crafts.

I am a wife, mother, teacher currently living in Lexington, South Carolina. My interests range from technology to music. I am also interested in travel, reading, and education.

A little background on who I am.

I graduated from the University of South Carolina after studying at La Universidad del Valle de Guatemala in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

I am a native of Guatemala and came to the United States in 2001. I am a Language and Literature Specialist who has taught at the American School and other private school in Guatemala (CARES.) I taught Spanish Immersion to 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students in Lexington One.

I am married to my lovely husband, Martin, and we have two wonderful children: Alex and Steffan. Alex moved to Pennsylvania during the summer of 2017 to pursue his career in technology, and Steffan is a Sophomore studying to be a teacher at Winthrop University.
