Susan Blundell

I have 20+ years of communications experience, that began in finance and evolved into aviation. My weekends are spent in agriculture, and I am just as comfortable discussing pasture management as I am understanding airfield operational reports. It's people that drive me, their passion for innovation and their excitement when success is achieved can be found regardless of the industry. I build great teams and believe that enthusiasm is infectious.

I have led Canada's largest airport through many crisis situations, from weather to critical security scenarios, and most recently a pandemic. Responding to an average of 25+ media inquiries a week and ensuring that the 50K employees feel inspired and connected is one of my greatest accomplishments. I am currently wrapping up my master’s degree with my thesis focusing on employee safety communications.
