In the past 35 years, Susan Cooper has worked with several schools and educational centers, including having spent three years as a teacher. During this time, Susan Cooper taught fourth grade and oversaw all classroom responsibilities.
Following this, she joined Teachers Tutoring, where she was a partner for eight years. While there, Ms. Cooper tutored elementary education students and taught science, history, and math. She also worked with students with learning disabilities in grades one to eight. During her tenure, she was voted a top teacher locally.
Since 1995, Susan Cooper has tutored through Volunteer Tutors, through which she primarily works with underprivileged students who also have learning disabilities. She teaches English, science, history, and math.
A Kean University graduate, Ms. Cooper has a bachelor’s degree focused on working with children with special needs. She is a member of her local teachers’ union, alongside a Florida dance instructors’ association. She supports the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
