Susan Corcoran

Massachusetts-based prosecutor Susan Corcoran draws on over three decades of service in prosecutorial and legal counsel roles. Throughout Susan Corcoran's career as a prosecutor, she has participated in numerous trials for felonies, contested hearings, and child abuse cases, among others.

As a former assistant district attorney with the Norfolk District Attorney's Office, she spent a decade leading and trying felony cases such as homicides. Ms. Corcoran served as the sole prosecutor for many felony cases that involved complex evidentiary issues, as well as prepared expert witnesses for trial.

She also has experience in the private sector, including a five-year post with Success Strategies Inc. as a legal counsel advisor. During her tenure there, she provided legal representation, advised on the company's structure, and reviewed contracts and business transactions.

Ms. Corcoran joined the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office in 2020 as a prosecutor, a position she still holds. . In this position she supervised assistant district attorneys and currently holds a full time superior court case load.

Beyond her professional obligations, Susan Corcoran enjoys music, art, and theater.
