Susan D Marie, PhD

Susan is an artist and a scholar who loves life. Her work includes writing, facilitation, leadership retreat and workshop design, photography, along with projects and consulting where she is invited to share her expertise. The impetus for her work is spiritually based in listening to the inner voice. This includes her passion for the arts to bring influence and affluence for a humane world, through process and product.

Susan’s doctoral work produced the dissertation entitled, Leadership of the Artist, available through ProQuest (ISBN #9781267353979). See Note 2 below. “Imagine the arts being the vehicle by which world peace comes to pass, by virtue of being, doing, sharing, and appreciation. I believe the artists in this study with their global influence have all made contributions for stakes in the direction of world peace.” (Marie, 2012, p. 230).

Currently, Susan’s artistic pursuits are in music (piano and voice) and photography. On the lighter side “I love dogs, good food, long walks, and sailing”.
