Working within the travel industry for many years I am an avid traveller and snow skier. Opening up Australia's first travel specialist bookstore in September 2001 was challenging and I am proud that after selling the business in 2006 Travellers bookstore is still a success story today. Prior to this I wandered around Australia for a while before backpacking around the world and working on a cruise ship. I resided in Europe and Canada for a couple of years before I gained employed within the travel industry. My sales and product roles in the wholesale travel industry allowed me to travel extensively within Asia and the USA. I have been running my own very successful travel agency for 7+ years and continue to travel. My recent trips have been to Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Mauritius, Aspen and Las Vegas and my next trip is to Egypt. I am now assisting a Vietnam based company to establish their presence here in Australia and have recently travelled through Egypt, Vanuatu, Vietnam and Laos. Travelled through Myanmar in 2014 and just about to take off to Canada/Alaska. Next year is South America with expedition cruise to Galapagos islands and a visit to Atacama desert.
