I am currently an American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the US National Science Foundation. I am also the Botany Program Coordinator in Adult Education at The New York Botanical Garden and have taught botanical classes throughout New York City for over 10 years. My interests are in improving science education and communication, increasing the representation of underrepresented groups in science, and showing the world how cool plants are.
