I have been acting, teaching, and coaching professionally since 1994. I relocated from New York City to Richmond, VA in 2012 to Head the Voice/Speech and Dialects program at Virginia Commonwealth University training mid-career actors in a unique Performance Pedagogy MFA. Areas of specialization include instruction in accents, voice, speech, phonetics, text analysis for performers, business executives, and public speaking professionals.

Prior to that, I was on the faculty at The Actor's Studio at Pace University MFA program, Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts BFA program, NYU Tisch School of the Arts CAP21, Circle in the Square Theatre School, and served as the Director in Residence at Shakespeare’s Globe in London, UK for Mason Gross School of the Arts in 2003-4.

I am listed in the 2010 "Who's Who in Education". My credits include working as an affiliate faculty member with the MCV International Dentist Program, teaching accent empowerment workshops to foreign born doctors, conducting voice workshops in the Middle East, and as of 2014 TedXRVA Speaker Coaching.

I am the first voice and speech educator to be designated as an Associate Teacher of both Knight-Thompson Speechwork and Linklater Voice Teacher. Professional affiliations include Voice & Speech Teacher's Association, American Speech and Hearing Association, The Linklater Center for Voice Language Inc., and I hold an MFA in Acting from Rutgers University.
