Susie Almaneih
VP of Marketing, Editor, and blogger in San Francisco, California
From early on in her life, Susie Almaneih learned the importance of having a strong work ethic. Her parents emigrated from Eastern Europe in order to give Susie and her siblings a better life. In the process, Susie saw their hard work and determination pay off as they excelled in their jobs and paved the path for Susie’s future success. She learned that achievement does not come easy, but is reachable with passion and motivation.
Susie Almaneih graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a B.A. in Economics and Finance, immediately followed by a job with a transportation company as an analyst. Susie’s first experience in the world of employment wasn’t what she expected it to be. With a disengaged boss who refused to answer some of her questions, Susie took matters into her own hands and decided she would flourish in any work assignment she was given. Susie went above and beyond and learned to educate herself, eventually climbing the corporate ladder to where she stands now as a high-level business executive.
But, climbing the ladder was not easy. Susie Almaneih gives credit to both her parents and a female mentor that had a profound effect on how she tackled her career. Susie admired the way this woman constantly balanced multiple commitments at once with grace (and sometimes in heels). Not only was she a single parent, but she worked as a VP in finance management and volunteered her free time to helping others in the community. As Susie got older, she too learned to juggle her time for everything she was passionate about.
From her career as an entrepreneur working as the SVP of Program Marketing and Products for Exact Market, to vocalizing her opinions on gender equality in the fields of technology and engineering, Susie Almaneih supports the organizations: Girls Who Code, Art for Recovery, and Battered Women, acting as a voice for females around the world. She is proof that any goal can be achieved with the right mindset and work ethics.
Her current position at Exact Market as leader in SVP Products and Program Marketing has allowed her to continue her passion for marketing, sales and customer service. The company is based in Silicon Valley and her clientele includes those within the high-tech markets of computer security, software, healthcare, and semiconductors.
Susie Almaneih's main passion lies with helping women and mothers find their own drives in their careers and family
