An experienced Chicago-area educator and administrator, Suzana Ustabecir holds a bachelor of arts in elementary education from Northeastern Illinois University and a master of education in administration and supervision from National Louis University (NLU). She also completed postgraduate coursework in principal leadership preparation through NLU’s New Leaders for New Schools Program. Suzana Ustabecir’s professional history includes tenures as magnet cluster lead teacher at Chopin Elementary School, acting assistant principal at Kate Starr Kellogg Elementary School, and principal of the Harriet E Sayre Language Academy.

Since September of 2016, Suzana Ustabecir has served as an instructional effectiveness specialist with Chicago Public Schools. She also holds active membership in both the Chicago Principals & Administrators Association and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.

Outside of the professional arena, Ms. Ustabecir enjoys baking and practicing photography. She is also a seasoned world traveler who has visited numerous foreign countries.
