Suzie Addison-Toor

Suzie Addison-Toor has a non-profit head, heart and soul! Her well balanced experience base has enabled her to tap into all facets of leadership in the nonprofit and academic communities. With over 15 years of successful career experience in executive management and leadership development, she passionately enables organizations and academic institutions to innovatively reduce risks while improving results.
Suzie currently is the Coordinator and the Social Service Worker Program at Georgian College where she also heads up the Community Education Partnership Centre (CEPC). Georgian College’s Community Education Partnership Centre (CEPC) supports the advancement of social entrepreneurship by promoting innovative and transformative social change processes in our local communities through, collaborative partnerships, active learning opportunities and scholarly research.
Past highlight accomplishments include: starting a consultancy called Engage Consulting (specializing nonprofit capacity building), founding and directing a charitable organization called Addus , facilitating Altruvest’s BoardWorx Program, and managing the YM/YWCA’s outdoor education centre in Victoria B.C.
Suzie is also a mom with two beautiful children and an avid family canoe tripper. Favourite places include anywhere in Algonquin Park, her family cottage on Tea Lake and Signal Hill, St. John’s, Nfld.
