Dr. Suzanne Martin is a clinical psychologist at the Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune where she works with active duty military – many of whom present with symptoms consistent with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). She also serves as a mental health specialist for the Job Corps program. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from Immaculata College and trained at Belmont Center for Comprehensive Treatment in Philadelphia, PA. She received her MPH from UNC Chapel Hill in 2011. Dr. Martin has worked in several private psychiatric hospital settings in a variety of clinical and administrative capacities. Her areas of expertise include adult and adolescent psychology, with specialized training and experience in program development, clinical supervision, and health administration. Dr. Martin is a member of the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology as well as the American Public Health Association, and North Carolina Psychological Association. She is a licensed psychologist in NC with over 13 years of clinical practice. She lives in Wilmington, NC with her husband of 35 years and 3 very spoiled “fur children.”
