Born in Sudbury Ontario Canada, Suzanne Berton lives in the historical city of Kingston Ontario, considered the First Capital of Canada.
Suzanne has dabbled in many forms of art: creative writing (children's books); portrait drawings with pencil, colored pencils, fine markers, or watercolors (pet and People portraits); stylized drawings; wood relief carving; landscapes in either paints or drawings; caricatures and/or illustrations, etc....
"My first love is 'drawing' since childhood. Portrait drawings started with pencil, colored pencils, pastels. It's all about color! Though I love Black and White, my drawings or paintings evolve with color."
Suzanne has been doing this for many years including writing and illustrating children's stories, many on special needs.
Besides her artistic tendencies, Suzanne is married and she is a member of the Salvation Army. "I believe God has blessed me with the gift of art, creativity, and writing. My hope is that people can see a little of God in my art and be comforted."
