Suzanne DeWitt

The recipient of a JD and an LLM from the University of Miami, Suzanne DeWitt began her distinguished career as an intern with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission before going on to hold senior positions with consulting firms such as Deloitte & Touche and law firms such as Baker & McKenzie LLP. Over the years, Suzanne DeWitt has gained extensive experience with domestic and international taxation, corporate valuations, fiduciary services, and other financial, legal, and consulting matters.

Suzanne DeWitt capitalizes on this training and experience in her role as a principal of Valora, a Miami-based consulting firm that provides a range of tax advisory, wealth structuring, fund administration, and fiduciary services. Concurrently, she leads a private law practice that focuses on international private banking and taxation matters for organizational and high-net-worth clients.

A prominent member of the tax law field, Ms. DeWitt stands out as a co-author and the sole author of numerous reports, white papers, and materials for professional seminars. A member of the Tax Law Section of the Florida Bar Association, she has also presented at section meetings and in continuing legal education programs.
