Mount Eden, Auckland, New Zealand
I am a marketing communications strategist with experience in audience development, B2C and B2B marketing, brand building, and project management. I work - solely and also in partnership - as an independent consultant specialising in strategic communications and tactical public relations. I provide services to a range of corporate and not-for-profit clients including NZ Fashion Week, Auckland Museum, Committee for Auckland, Yealands Wine Group & a venture capital agency.
I'm currently an independent director on the Board of the YWCA and contribute to an Advisory Board of the AUSA Media Trust. I was a founding trustee of the NZ Music Industry Commission, an independent charitable trust, whose mission is to grow the New Zealand music industry, culturally and economically both in New Zealand and internationally.
I am a proud New Zealander, having traveled the length and breadth of the country and am especially fond of Tolaga Bay. My favorite spots off shore include Vanuatu, Venice, Prague and Langkawi in Malaysia.
I can fire a gun, back a trailer, sniff out a shoe sale blindfolded and cook a nine course Italian meal from scratch. I live with my husband Will who is a lawyer, my sixteen year old stepson James and a feline assassin, Sooty.
I have a strong personal ethic of empathy, honesty and integrity which I employ on my professional path and my personal one.
