A Passion for Process improvement

I gravitate toward standardizing business processes and adding lean principals to every function. I am not afraid to get my hands in the mud and workout the most impactful kinks in a process to make it more effective.

A Technical Minded Business Leader

My education and expereince as a process engineer has ensured that I can dig into the nitty gritty and speak the speak to get the best solution for the organization. I am an intiator who not only solves problems at hand, but proactively looks for ways to improve the organization to add to the bottom line. I love collaborating with others to develop elegant business solutions. I honestly believe we can do more together than as individuals and this belief is what propels my work.

A Commitment for Mentoring women

I have been building up the Oregon Women at Intel Network Board for over a decade. As part of this leadership and development employee group, I have helped countless women along their career paths as well as other chapters of this women's group get started around the world. One on One, I have also been mentoring women at different stages of their careers from recent college grads to midlevel managers. Additionally, I am proud to have helped middle school students learn about engineering and high school gals explore different engineering options.

Biography: I am currently employed by Intel Corporation as a Commodity Manager in Global Materials Platform Outsourcing. Together with my loving husband, we have 2 children and enjoy the mutually beneficial support of my live-in dad. My Mother is from the Dominican Republic and my father is from Hungary. As a daughter of parents whose families both escaped the holocaust and eventually immigrated to the US, I always knew that overcoming odds was part of the fabric of my being. Despite many obstacles, almost being led astray three times, and little financial support from my parents, I was able to complete a BS in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and later an MBA from Willamette University. I never felt that doing it all and having it all was beyond my reach.
