Suzanne Schwing was trained for the stage at LAMDA and subsequently received her musical training at Boston University (Mus.B, cum laude) and Manhattan School of Music (MM). A sought-after mezzo-soprano, Suzanne performs frequently with The New York Virtuoso Singers (NYVS), the Collegiate Chorale, and the American Symphony Orchestra.

In 2012, Suzanne appeared as soloist with NYVS, the Pro Arte Singers, the Choral Society of the Hamptons, the Great Music series at St. Bart’s Church, and on tour with the Israel Philharmonic and Zubin Mehta in Tel Aviv, Haifa, and at the Salzburg Festival. In early 2013, she recorded 25 world-premiere compositions with NYVS and Harold Rosenbaum, returned to NYCO for Moses in Egitto and La Périchole, and made her Carnegie Hall solo debut as Frau Blunt in Marschner’s Der Vampyr with the American Symphony Orchestra under Leon Botstein.

Engagements in 2014 included concerts with NYVS at Merkin Concert Hall and a return to Bard SummerScape for Carl Maria von Weber's "Euryanthe" under Leon Botstein. In May 2014, Suzanne joined fellow alto soloists Hai-Ting Chinn and Mary Marathe in singing the world premiere of Bruce Adolphe's The End of Tonight at WQXR's The Greene Space.

In early 2015, Suzanne will join NYVS for concerts at Merkin in February and April, and will return to Carnegie Hall in February with the ASO and Leon Bostein for Mona Lisa.
