Duncan of Jordanstone jewellery graduate currently based in Glasgow.
My inspiration comes from the visceral interaction of daily electronic use and serendipitous moments of physically picking up found objects. This is expressed through the illumination of hand motifs and by creating wearable vessels, where objects of choice can be collected for display. Creating juxtaposition between a functional aesthetic of brushed metal, rubber, Perspex, glass and light with selected organic material has formed the basis of my final year studies and future development.
Previous work has also involved utilising precious metal working techniques, silver smithing, lost wax casting and stone setting techniques.
Interested in job opportunities, collaborative projects and exhibitions.
