Suzy’s love affair with music began with her Mum’s Sunday morning vinyl playing sessions when three years old.

In 1990 she moved to follow her heart studying Media & Performance at Salford University meeting Tim Allen (of band K), John Smith (John Lennon Award Song Writing Award Winner) and Alan Lowles (I am Kloot, Airtight Studios) where they formed folk/rock band Megiddo.

Released in 1996, their self penned debut EP ‘On the Outside’ featured two acoustic guitars, a mandolin and fretless bass. The band were regulars on the the UK Folk Circuit featuring at The Mean Fiddler, London, Band on the Wall (opening for Celtic music legends Iona), Winchester Folk Festival (supporting Show of Hands), Middlewich Folk & Boat Festival and Monmouth Music Festival to name a few.

Megiddo disbanded in 1997 and Suzy formed a new project band ‘Trade’ with Tim Allen, fusing acoustic folk/rock with electronica. Their debut gig saw them headline at Manchester’s Night & Day Café and then, under the moniker of ‘Starlite’, perform at Norfolk’s Eastern Haze Festival and in Manchester.

During this period she also worked as a successful professional radio broadcaster and in 1991, was awarded a New York Festival International Radio Award for ‘First Time Eyes’. This was a diary-documentary about her experiences in Israel during the Gulf War, and has presented on Piccadilly Radio, Manchester, Galaxy (Kiss 102), Manchester, 96.2 The Revolution, Signal Cheshire and Signal Stoke.

Following a move to the Isle of Man in 2009 and again taking up acoustic guitar, she started writing songs. Here she met musician and producer Simon Campbell and after a short time was out playing the live circuit including Mannifest, the island’s largest outdoor three day festival. This time with a full band, original music and, at times, a rockier edge to the music. Suzy was signed to Supertone Records in 2012.

In 2014 she moved to Valencia with her now husband Simon and continued to record and write releasing their ambient piece ‘Happiness in Halos’ on 16th June, 2014.

She appears on Simon’s 2014 album, ‘The Knife’ having co-written ‘Do You Want Me.'

New album 'The Coat', co-written with Simon, is set for release in October 2015 supported by a European Tour.
