Stony Brook

I am currently enrolled as full time first year graduate student majoring in Computer Engineering at Stony Brook University. I aspire to be proficient primarily in the field of computer engineering with strong focus in software design and development. Previously I have worked as a software developer at Cognizant Technology Services. I was involved in developing complex interfaces and services using SQL, PLSQL, HTML, Javascripting, Unix Shell Scripting and XML. I have developed and enhanced PL/SQL program units creating stored procedure, Function, Packages, DML triggers, DDL triggers, Instead of triggers and have developed web applications based on Javascript and HTML alongside PL/SQL with an Oracle 10g database. I was involved in installing, upgrading the software quarterly and have worked on troubleshooting production incidents.

At Stony Brook, as a project I am currently developing a Python-MySQL based data analysis tool for estimation of population distribution using wifi packet capture. I am trying to implement a Markovian model to successfully predict the population density at a given time and space. I am also currently involved in an another project that deals with Software Designed Networking (SDN) implementing policy enforcement in middle-boxes.

I have completed a project Multiple Robot Navigation using SystemC,which is primarily based on C++, designed and simulated a server-robot-environment interaction which decides the movement of the robots, and avoiding collisions. In another project related on the same course, I designed a communication system between mobile and server taking into account the collision correction occurring in the communication.
