I love technology and science!

Therefore, I am gratefull that my career brought me into the internet space around the turn of the century with HP. Internet and the digital business has changed from considered a simple marketing channel to life and scociety changing technologies to a point where most new buisess must consider how they succeed in the digital space. The rise of laptop, taken over by the tablets (netbooks never got a chance) that now get canibalized by the mobile. And it is just a matter of time before the mobile as we know it will have to step down and leave the tech lead spot to something else. We have just not found out what yet.

We have Internet of things, the intelligent home, Big Data, cloud computing, collaboration and social groups. All struggling to set the standard for where the next major leap in the technology willbring us. It is now so big that the first clear fragmentations form spinning the evolution independant in different directions. This is why I love the digital world.

What makes even more fantastic on a personal level is that I have had the chance to follow it first hand for close to a couple of decades. Hands on as webmaster, developer and architect and later as a leader in different organzations.

My passion is building organizations that creates maximum value and leading them to exceptional performance. I got a chance to experienced this when we buildt the EMEA digital organization after the merger with Compaq as the leader for the new project management organization. The idea was to take a decentralized organization and bringing it together while leveraging key findings across all countries in EMEA.

Together we built the foundation that was later used as inspiration when a new worldwide organzation was designed.

This experience I have used when building a new data management organization in Scalepoint, a claims management software company in Denmark.

I’m married to Lise who is a School Teacher. Together we have two sons, Tue and Aske. In my spare time I enjoy running and relax with some cooking and gardening to create a different perspective to the technology world.
