Sole author of the fundamental ideas and strategic argumentation on protecting Vatnajokull glacier and surrounding areas as a unified whole, from 1992-1998. This was the only ideas prior to the Icelandic government's decision to form Vatnajokull National Park, a process that took place from 1999-2008.
