Raised children as a single mother for 38 years, mostly in the mountains of eastern Washington. Homeschooling included taking my kids for months at a time from 1984 thru 1999 to the lands of resister traditional Dine' Grandmothers at Big Mountain/Black Mesa. As a Grandmother myself, spent recent years doing hard labor for the better off in order to pay rent on a scale never encountered in the mountains. Integrating art and writing as well as my very life focusing on ending oppression of Indigenous, women, very poor, all oppressed peoples.
