Swarnjit Singh

Currently serving as a Consultant Gastroenterologist in Chandler, Arizona, Dr. Swarnjit Singh was fellowship trained in internal medicine and gastroenterology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was board certified after nearly two decades of rigorous academic training in India, the United Kingdom, and throughout the United States, after which he relocated to Arizona in 1997. There, he established himself in his field, assuming posts as a Staff Consultant for Dignity Health at Chandler Regional Medical Center and as Director of the Chandler Endoscopy Center. Dr. Swarnjit Singh continues to maintain these positions.

He also helped to establish East Valley Gastroenterology and Hepatology Associates (EVGHA), where he currently serves as a managing partner. Opened in 2004, the practice is dedicated to treating gastrointestinal and hepatologic disorders, including Crohn's disease, colitis, celiac disease, and hemorrhoids, among many other conditions. The practice has since expanded to comprise four offices throughout the region as well as eight physicians. Specializing in gastroenterological diagnostic and therapeutic services, Dr. Swarnjit Singh provides patients with a range of procedures, including esophagoscopy, colonoscopy, and endoscopic pancreaticobiliary interventions.

Dr. Swarnjit Singh maintains affiliation with a number of professional organizations, including the North of England Gastroenterology Society, the British Medical Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He has published dozens of articles and abstracts in peer reviewed journals, presented at numerous national and international conferences, and authored several book chapters. In his free time, Dr. Singh enjoys playing hockey, table tennis, and golf.
