I am a passionate advocate for creating equitable access to quality sexual and reproductive health supplies and services for women around the globe. I am particularly interested in the intersection of market-driven solutions with global health challenges, and believe that business-oriented solutions not only have the power to create more sustainable health programs, but also, better economic outcomes for women and young people worldwide.
I have a BA in Politics and Government from the University of Puget Sound, and an MPH and MBA from Johns Hopkins University. I have ten years of international development and global health experience, including experience in education for remote communities, economic empowerment initiatives, and global health programming. I have lived and worked in Africa, Asia, and Central/South America and have extensive project management and program design experience. For global health interventions to be effective, I believe that they need to put the user at the center of program design.
Outside of work, I am an avid runner and hiker, and love to travel and escape to the mountains.
