I have hard water and changing the charcoal filters on thecoffee maker improve the water and help keep the coffee maker running well.
I wish these vendors put a little more details on theirproducts so that you know what you are getting. Include the size either pleaseof the filter in the description, or the model that is made for.
This were a great price and now I know why - they are muchsmaller than the original filters that come from cuisinart 900bc. Because thereare gaps all around due to much smaller size, I am using them but not sure theyare actually filtering anything. Will not be reordering these again in thefuture.
Put one of these filters into a cup of water for the pre-soak.When I dropped the filter into the water there was a puff of black dust shotfrom the water and the filter turned gray. I would avoid these filters.
I've searched a lot and this is the best price I've found. Alot better than ordering them from Cuisinart. I've ordered twice, because theywork the same as the name brand.
Uneasy about using them with all the stories aboutimpurities. Have to think on this before using.
It is coffee filters-- what more can you say. It is the correct filter for the coffee pot and shipping and description were accurate.
These water filters fit perfectly and help the coffee to taste better in my cuisinart coffee maker 900bc by cleaning the water before brewing. This can be redundant if you already have a water filtration system atyour home or if you are using a Brita filter. cuisinart coffee maker 900bcreccomends you replace monthly, but I find that you can get away with going 2months in between replacements.
These do not come in Cuisinart packaging. Wish I had knownbefore I purchased.
Someone told me that fluoride was still present in myfiltered water and the charcoal filter takes it out but, my whole house filterhas a charcoal filter. My coffeeuse seriously overcomes my hot water use, so having individuals sitting aroundpotentially gathering dust isn't something I like
