I am a Full-time Musician and a Mom. I attended Duke Ellington School of the Arts and received a BA in Fine Arts from Howard University..."cum laude" Class of '94.

I am the Musical Director for Be'la Dona, an all-female band.

For the past 13 years, I've been playing keyboards and singing with Chuck Brown, The Godfather of GoGo.

I have performed in Japan, Korea, Switzerland, Spain, The Caribbean, England, The Netherlands, Paris, France, Poland, Russia, Mexico, Yugoslavia, Greece, Finland, Croatia, Germany, Belgium, and many other countries with artists such as: Pieces of a Dream, Nile Rodgers and Chic , Stephanie Mills, Jean Carne, EU, Melanie Fiona, Estelle, Howard Hewitt, Christopher Williams, Angela Bofil, Phil Perry, Erykah Badu, Chrisette Michele, and Marsha Ambrosius, just to name a few.

I am also a radio personality for GoGo Radio.com and serve as an Educator and Guest Speaker to incorporate the history of GoGo music in DC Public Schools.

I have written 3 songs appearing on jazz recording artists Pieces of a Dream's cds such as "You and I" (Ahead to the Past/Blue Note Records)..."Triflin" and "Your Love" (Acquainted with the Night/Heads Up International)

I have won five WAMA Awards for Best Instrumentalist and also two WAMA Awards(Be'la Dona) for Best Urban and Contemporary Band and Best GoGo Band.

Be'la Dona has also received a GoGo Award for Best New Artist.
