Scott Weinstein is a senior at John Jay High School in Cross River, New York. He is currently training as a musical theater performer and has experience performing in, directing, and working on technical elements of musicals and plays. Most recently, he directed "Four Corners: The Monopoly Musical" alongside four other creative team members as part of his involvement in the Broadway Theatre Project (Summer 2020).

Having performed with six high school performance groups and contributed to over ten clubs, Scott takes an active role in his schools performing arts department and extracurricular offerings as a leader and participant. He is currently the mayor and chapter president in the Junior State of America, a student political debate organization, a leader in the yearbook club, Tri-M Music Honors Society, Rolling Tones A-Cappella group, and student council. He also founded his school's chapter of the International Thespians Society to strengthen the theatrical community and opportunities at John Jay High School. He was awarded "Teen of the Month" in December because of his contributions to performing arts.

After high school, Scott plans to study musical theater performance, sociology, and business in college while sprinkling in elements of film and online content creation. He hopes to use this education and training to perform, teach, and ultimately open a performing arts company.

Scott Weinstein radiates positivity at Starbucks as a barista, making an effort to connect with customers and foster a welcoming environment. His efforts were recognized when he was awarded "Partner of the Quarter" (a Starbucks quarterly employee recognition award) in his first quarter of employment. He was recently promoted to the position of barista trainer and hopes to continue working with Starbucks while in college. At Starbucks, Scott learned how to cherish customer interactions while maintaining efficiency in the high-stakes work environment. He hopes to continue developing his customer connections and increase the speed of service at his Starbucks location.
