Background

I was born in Bangalore, India and brought up in the United States of America. My parents chose to move to America because they saw the choice as an opportunity for growth and an opportunity for their children to get a quality education. Regardless of my soci-economic status, my race, gender and ethnicity, I was provided with an equal opportunity to obtain a quality education.

My Pledge

Through my knowledge and understanding of the world today, I will be able to provide families with an equal opportunity to be educated regardless of socio-economic status or any other obstacles which families may face today. I want to provide children with an equal opportunity to obtain a quality education. I am an educator who aspires to grow and learn varying and effective ways to educate my students. I will prepare my students for the future.
