Sophie Whatling

With a keen interest in menswear I study fashion at The Arts University Bournemouth. My designs revolve around interesting and unusual concepts and I hope to push boundaries of what menswear represents in my work. I a big fan of gender neutral wear; something which is fast developing in the industry. I also wish to make a difference with my work by exploring ethical solutions, such as up-cycled garments and employing models/ creating garments for those under-represented in the industry. my work is influenced by colour and print and bold clothing inspires me; I aim to make menswear fun and less about snobbery and sensibility.
